Geist hosted a showcase event on the 35th floor of the Shard in London on July 3rd. The theme of the event was “A 3600 overview of the Data Centre” and this was paralleled by the panoramic views of the city available to event attendees. The presentation covered the challenges faced by Data Centre specifiers and managers and how they can be addressed by planning and good data centre design. Hands-on demonstrations and workshops were available at the end of the event covering the four key cornerstones of Geist’s product portfolio: Power, Cool, Monitor and Manage.
Scott Harrison, EMEA Sales and Marketing Manager said: “The event was very well attended and covered many of the critical issues faced by Data Centre managers, and those tasked with designing facilities. We were able to demonstrate that good data centre planning and design can mitigate against unknown events and make the most efficient use of the resources available.”
